Up And Running
January has been a month of paperwork for us, some of it exciting, much of it boring, most of it understood, but all of it leading to bigger and better things.
We should reach a point where we can be fully equipped early February so expect updates on that. Much of what we had planned for January has been moved back to accommodate the change in our circumstances, namely the investor who has joined as a silent partner, so February is busy with the filming.
February 2nd we film the pick ups for Donald Newman which is about time. The week of the 13th sees the pilot of Eaten By The Wolves kick off and soon after we should be filming the next segment of Donald Newman.
It's filming February and in that light our YouTube Channel is up and running. You can
find it here and expect videos galore appearing very soon! Told you we'd fulfil our promises of entertainment.

Merry Relevant Holiday Greeting
The year has drawn to a close as these types of things always do and we look forward to a brighter tomorrow. After a few not entirely unexpected teething troubles the past few months we stand stronger and wiser than before with our exciting 2012 plan laid out before us.
We have begun the
Flitter Blog the first of many expanses of our online presence and you can expect our YouTube channel to follow soon. The blog will be updated weekly and come February you will begin to see the fruits of our labours as
Donald Newman finally makes itself known.

Ups and Downs - Lessons Learnt
It's not been an easy month and we've had some harsh lessons to learn along the way. But we can't let these things get us down and it's all been an important part of the experience. The specifics are as follows:
Donald Newman
Unfortunately we have been unable to get our flagship web series back up to running at full speed so it's unlikely the pilot will be going out before February. We will attempt to have extra material to show before then but it's been tricky.
Independent Work
Biggest problem has been Genesi Martial Arts event. It seemed like everything that could go wrong did go wrong and the project ended up taking a whole month longer than was expected in editing. Fortunately it's over now even though we would have hoped for a smoother outcome. This has been our biggest learning curve having taken on a project with a budget well below what it should have been.
Alternate Plans
We are, however, storming away with plans for our other web series 'Eaten By The Wolves'. With it's relatively basic setup and small cast we are confident of having a regular output of this series. Details of this new show will appear in December so keep an eye out.
BIG NEWS
Although we have had many delays we have also been in talks with a potential investor, and despite what some may say money makes everything better. Can't say too much about this right now, but again expect updates in December.

Planning, Plotting ... Possibly Scheming
Plans for the new year have had to be altered somewhat, expect details in the November update. In short Donald Newman has had to be delayed due to a computer fault, very irritating, but we still hope to have the first episode out in early 2012.
Aside from that we're planning a few other surprises to come out at the same time.. Expect to see a lot more of us in the new year.
In addition we shot a live kickboxing event at the end of the moneth for Genesis Martial Arts, check them out and hope to see some of the footage soon.

Thanks to the Princes Trust we've been able to upgrade all of our equipm so expect word on a number of projects we're planning to take advantage of this.

Filming has begun
We have begun shooting on the pilot for 'Donalf Newman - Underachiever (also saviour of the universe)', the last three days of the month make up the first days of the shoot. Two days still remain having been delayed for a variety of reasons and will be taking place in September and by the end of next month a rough cut of the pilot should be available.

Shooting for 'Donald Newman - Underachiever (also saviour of the universe)' begins at the end of Augut. With cast and crew being assembled we nervously approach out deadline.

One Step Closer
With our final business plan and cashflow forecast we can now look to receiving our start up funding within the next month or so. As a result we have begun planning for a variety of projects come August. Exciting stuff.
Flitter Forum
The newly created Flitter Forum went active this month and is receiving some attention but we urge anyone reading this to join up. It is a place for keeping up to date with Flitter Films works but we hope it will also become a place for indie film chat in general, gathering together new filmmakers to forge working relationships or just for friendly chat in a no holds barred atmosphere.

equipment. Obviously this is primarily an
investment into the business as with our own
professional quality camera equipment we can
branch out on the kind of work we can take on
and not having to rent equipment out means we
can pass some of that saving straight onto the
client.
